CORAL REEFS
Coral Reef ecosystems throughout our planet have been dramatically threatened by Climate Change’s increased temperatures as result of mounting CO’2 in our atmosphere. In March of 2017 I flew over Australia’s Great Barrier Reef to capture some images from the air. From December 2017 through the January 2018 I explored coral reefs around the Hawaiian Islands and American Samoa. That expedition was part of a group project called “Kai’Apapa” made possible by a MAP grant. I am currently continuing to explore study and create images inspired by this expedition.
