CONTINENTAL DIVIDE
While the CONTINENTAL DIVIDE extends from the Bering Strait to the Strait of Magellan, it also refers to the mountain range known as the “Rockies” which was formed by one tectonic plate pushing under the other millions of years ago. In 2010, I flew over Montana’s Glacier National Park and actually saw this range cross into Canada from a helicopter. When in Banff on July 2, 2016, I felt compelled to continue that observation with a new series.
