DIANE BURKO’S GREATEST EMERGENCY
La mayor emergencia, an exhibition curated by Santiago Zabala at the Círculo de Bellas Artes, brought together 12 artists from across the world to express the urgency of the greatest emergencies facing the global collective.
DIANE BURKO’s most recent focus has been exploring and researching environmental devastation, and more specifically, she has been recently focused on the devastation in the Amazon Rainforest, especially following her 2023 LABverde residency in Manaus. She has an ensemble of twelve recent 20x20 inch mixed-media paintings about these devastations featured in the exhibition.
The exhibition will run from October 24, 2024 to January 12, 2025.
